Pawlette

Privacy

The short version: your drawings stay yours, on your device. Pawlette doesn't collect anything about you.

What Pawlette collects

Nothing. Pawlette has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It doesn't send your drawings, your settings or anything about how you use it to us or to anyone else.

Where your drawings are kept

Your drawings, brushes and settings are saved on your own device. Uninstalling Pawlette removes them, unless you exported or synced them somewhere first.

Syncing

If you turn on syncing, Pawlette copies your drawings into a folder you choose on your device. Whatever moves that folder to your other devices (Syncthing, Nextcloud, Dropbox and so on) is a separate app with its own privacy policy. Pawlette itself never uploads anything.

The remote

The optional remote lets a phone on your own Wi-Fi press Pawlette's shortcut buttons. It only works inside your local network, it's protected by a random key shown on your screen, and nothing goes out to the internet.

Pose scan

When you pose a 3D figure from a photo, the photo you pick is read on your device and never leaves it. Pawlette doesn't use your camera.

Files you open

Pawlette asks for access to your files so you can open and save drawings, brushes and pictures where you like. It only reads and writes the files you work with.

Links

The Donate on Ko-fi and Visit pawlette.art buttons open your web browser. Those websites have their own privacy policies.

This website

pawlette.art has no cookies and no analytics. Like any website, our server keeps standard access logs (your IP address, the page asked for and when) for security, and its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Children

Pawlette collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions? Write to doctor.utsugi@protonmail.com.
